Letter to Deans
INCOSE NZ has published an open letter to the Deans/Heads of Engineering across New Zealand, encouraging the incorporation of core Systems Engineering concepts — Systems Thinking, Requirements Engineering, and Validation & Verification — into all tertiary Engineering curricula. Pathway to Chartership
Engineering New Zealand and INCOSE NZ are working together to establish Systems Engineering as a field of practice for Chartered Engineers in New Zealand. This will bring significant benefit to lifting the recognition of Systems Engineering and professionalisation of the practice across New Zealand.
2025 NZ SE Conference
INCOSE NZ hosted the first ever NZ Systems Engineering Conference in November 2025. Featuring presentations from systems engineers in transport and infrastructure, aerospace, aviation, academia, and more, our attendees found great value in the knowledge sharing and connection building provided by the 2-day event.
